This sterling silver medicine wheel has a carnelian agate sun surrounded by pierced and etched silver rays. Carved brass mountains overlook cultivated fields and a vivid turquoise lake. Three hand-wrought and engraved feathers hang from the lower edge of this pendant. This is the second piece in the numbered 'Desert Medicine' series.

'DESERT MEDICINE III'
This third piece in the series was made as Rain's Christmas present (so, good luck prying it off of her, LOL!); it is only shown here as an example of my work. Although the scan is larger, this one's quite a bit smaller than the 4 1/2 inches of the one above, at only 2 1/2 inches. The same varieties of gemstones were used.
