Shown here is a genuine carved elk antler 'rosette', which is the naturally flower-like base of the elk's massive antlers. Those that I use for this purpose are from found shed antlers. This nice large one has an eagle's head very deeply relief-carved into it, and is highly polished. On the reverse side is a metal loop for attaching one's belt securely.
