Arizona petrified wood, what I call FIRE wood! Just BRILLIANT!

Cabochon = [cab-uh-shon] (plural cab·o·chons) ~noun~ A stone of convex form, highly polished, but not faceted; also, the style of cutting itself. Such stones are said to be cut en cabochon. Cabochon is an Old French derived word for 'little head', refering to the head's resemblance to a stone or other material cut with a rounded top.

Whew, that's rather dry, isn't it?! Cabochons are a lot more fun than their definition. -smile- Here are some of my favorite cabs that sold on eBay auctions, many of which were none too easy to part with. Hope you enjoy viewing these photos.
