Charoite cab ~
Offered here is a sweet cabochon of charoite, from Russia. This cab features a lovely pearly chatoyance in purple and lavender, along with several areas of prismatic golden tinaksite (a rare mineral in and of itself), jet black sprays of aegirine-augite, and pools of translucent feldspar. The contrast is just beautiful! This substantial stone has a very high rounded dome of 8mm, an attractive shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
