Paiute agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Paiute agate, cut from new material fresh from the recent digs in Southern Oregon. Yup, they're started harvesting this fine agate again, hooray! This well marked example features the classic black dendrites swirled into a background of burnt orange and coffee with cream, with some translucent areas. It has a high rounded dome, a sleek symmetrical shape, and despite a couple micro pits, it took a super glassy polish both front and back.
