Sunstone cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of sunstone, from Oregon. This sparkling and gemmy member of the feldspar family features excellent saturated orange coloration, with rolling flashes of shiller. The backside photo shows the shiller best, though the same flash is apparent on the domed side, where it eluded the camera's eye. There are a few ghostly veils present, but no fractures or other blemishes atall. The cab is small but mighty, with a very high rounded dome of 7.5mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
