Forest fire jasper cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of classic forest fire jasper, also sometimes called 'smoke and embers' jasper, or tabu tabu, from Africa. (Easy to see why it got such fiery names!) This brecciated stone features a splendid criss-cross pattern in crimson, ivory and gray, the latter of which is translucent. This vibrant stone has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, an easy to set designer shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
