Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Regency rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This one was cut from some old stock I set aside long ago, and only recently slabbed up. Thrilling to see the beauty inside! This cab features a delightful pattern of frilly plumes adrift in translucent agate, in deep coral pink, with accents of yellow-orange, pastel pink and cream. There's a great dimension of depth, and a nice scenic quality reminiscent of an underwater setting, with lush living corals wafting in the current. The cab has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully fluid shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
