Offered here is a unique cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This stunning material is, in my opinion, the most awesomely brilliant tigereye there is anywhere in the world, and this brilliantly colorful stone is an example of the highest calibre ever found. It has to-die-for chatoyance that flashes in vibrant deep purplish blue, green, red, orange and gold that shiver over the face of the stone, almost a full rainbow spectrum of colors! Patches of shiny metallic hematite, some edged with streaks of red, really push this one over the top. And the backside is beautiful too! This substantial stone has a generously high rounded dome of 6.5 mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
