Pietersite cab ~
Offered here is an extra fancy cabochon of premium pietersite, from China. This one has all three colors of bright gold, red and blue in curling pearly chatoyancy, and even some areas of orange. Please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size so you get a good look. I must mention the presence of a few tiny pits at one edge, visible at the bottom center of the third photo, but please note it should be covered by most any setting. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a sleek designer shape, and a glassy polish. The backside is sanded smooth, unpolished.
