Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This eye-catching material is, in my opinion, the most awesome brilliant tigereye there is anywhere in the world, and this gem's a prime example of the highest calibre found. It exhibits brilliant pearly chatoyance, in hues of blue, teal and yellow that roll and flash beautifully over the stone. To one side are a pair of stripes of shiny metallic hematite, as well as a thin streak of red and speckly orange chatoyance, and the balance of the stone is olive green jasper. Glorious coloration! The cab has a very high rounded dome, a sweet designer shape, and a super slick glassy polish both front and back.
