Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a large and fabulous designer cabochon of Regency Rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This one was cut from some old stock I put aside years ago, and only recently sliced into. And what a surprise it was inside, I love this stuff! This cab features a beautiful pattern of frilly plumes in deep coral pink, with accents of yellow, pastel pink and white adrift in translucent agate, which gives the stone a delightful dimension of depth. The captured 'scene' reminds me of an underwater setting, with lush living corals wafting in the current. The cab has a very high rounded dome, a strong, crisp shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
