Offered here is a fascinating cabochon of rare Horse Canyon agate, from California. This highly sought after moss agate is arguably some of the prettiest and rarest there is, becoming more difficult to obtain by the day. The area where it comes from is now private and closed, so there's been no collecting for quite some years. This natural beauty features a fabulous pattern of web-like moss in shades of green and yellow, adrift in a highly translucent agate base. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a pleasantly curved designer triangle shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
