Charoite cab ~
Offered here is a sweet cabochon of charoite, from Russia. This cab features a lovely pearly chatoyance in deep purple and lavender, along with an area of unusual golden yellow. Toward the pointy tip, there appears to be a small streak feldspar that's somewhat translucent. Beautiful! The stone has a very high rounded dome, an attractive designer 'paisley' shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
