Morgan Hill poppy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large and fancy cab of top notch poppy jasper, from the famous Morgan Hill, CA. location, no longer open to collecting. This feature-packed stone has a fabulously bold pattern of contrasting bullseye figures in reddish orange, against a background of smoky pink and chocolate. There are also a couple fortified areas of banding framing yellowish cores. It does have a couple of the typical hairline fractures common to this collectible material, but each is well healed and fine, and the stone is quite solid. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 7.5mm, a gracefully sleek designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
