Flowering obsidian cab ~
Offered here is an unusual cabochon of collectibly rare flowering obsidian, from Mexico. It features several wild starbursts of dark and light pink that stand out wonderfully against a jet black background. The pom-poms are shaped exactly like exploding fireworks! A very cool material quite unlike any other obsidian, and I must say I like it a lot; every cab is totally unique! The only flaw I can see is a tiny void, visible at the bottom right in the third photo, but it should be completely concealed by most any setting. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a sleek designer shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
