Flowering tube onyx cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Utah's flowering tube onyx. Amazingly busy patterns predominate in this fine example, with a large and ornate 'flower', bands and a few bullseyes, and great contrasting colors. Happily, it's got but a few of the typical hairlines that so frequently plague this material. And this one has not been treated or enhanced in any way, unlike most others. I think you'll find it worthy of your most creative setting. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6+mm, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
