Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features a delightful pattern in creamy burnt yellows and ochre/tan, with daubs of dark red and orange areas, as well as some jet black threads. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this one's a beauty! The stone has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully fluid shape that can easily be strong or elegant depending upon how it's set, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
