Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is an ocean jasper cab, from Madagascar. This fine example is actually more tranlucent agate than jasper, with a delicately subtle flower-like pattern. It has a nice combination of pastel hues that's more intriguing with every look, at least for me. The body is a very pale shade of creamy yellow along with white, and on that are some fortification bands that look like pseudo-morphed crystals framing patches of grayish tan around the deep green feathery orbs. Kinda cool, huh? The backlit photo shows this one's translucent nature very well. The cab has a high rounded dome and a designer 'talon' shape, perfectly polished both front and back.
