Offered here is a striking cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This fine porcelain material is becoming harder and harder to come by lately, particularly with the best figure and color. This one is a superb example, featuring a pattern of bold lightning streaks in shades of red, pink and cream. The stone has a high rounded dome, a gracefully fluid designer 'paisley' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
