Chrysocolla in quartz cab ~
Offered here is a vivid cabochon of chrysocolla in quartz, from Arizona. This striking stone features webs and ribbons of electric blue chrysocolla, and some areas of equally brilliant greenish malachite. The saturated colors contrast strongly against a background of snow white, which is nicely translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo. Simply delicious! The stone has a low but well rounded dome of 4mm, a crisp designer shape, and an excellent polish both front and back.
