Chevron amethyst cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of chevron amethyst (quartz), from Brazil. It features lovely shades of dark and light purple, with V shaped bands in white going across the stone. The striking color zoning represents extended growth lines in the crystal itself, and there are also clouds, veils and other natural inclusions present in the stone. It has a very high rounded dome of 9mm, a pleasant designer shape, and a glistening polish both front and back.
