Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here we have a cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic old material has become quite collectibly rare these days. This cabochon features a fabulous pattern in rich earthy tones of creamy tans and reddish browns, with several nice touches of blue gray. Oozing with character! It has a rounded dome of about 5mm, a versatile shape that enhances the jasper's pattern very nicely, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
