Poppy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of unusual poppy jasper. The dealer who had the rough couldn't say for sure where it was found, but it was so amazing I eventually got all he had. I do believe the correct moniker is Bohemite. It has a wildly figured pattern including dots, and certainly has some very unusual colors; there's rusty red, burnt orange, creamy ivory, as well as an oddly muted slate blue with hints of purplish overtones; very upbeat and festive. The cab has a very high rounded dome, a designer 'paisley' shape, and a slick glossy shine both front and back.
