Rutilated quartz cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of rutilated quartz, from Brazil. This spectacular example features water clear quartz with fine 'angel hair' needles of golden yellow rutile. Several of the needles are grouped in radiating star patterns, adding much interest and appeal. You'll want to dream up something extra special to best show it off, and place it front and center! I do need to mention that there's a short inclusion within this cab (about 5mm long), though it's not distracting. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of about 7mm, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
