Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a marvelous cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the old Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. It was cut from some old stock that had been tucked away for decades in the cherished collection of an old gentleman rockhound. This example is truly a unique and distinguished cab, with a variety of patterns in many colors. There's brilliant orange and red, bluish purple, and mossy strings of pink, mauve and orange, and teensy drusy pocket, and even a spot of white common opal. It's very appealingly translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo, giving the stone a fascinating dimension of depth. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a sleek symmetrical shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
