Lazulite in quartzite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from rare lazulite in quartzite, premium lapidary material from Georgia's Graves Mountain area. This example shows several deep blue lazulite crystals, in a silvery gray quartzite base. This one is a bit more translucent than some others I've cut, with larger flecks of silvery pyrite, though only a hint of them is visible in the photos.
