Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of morrisonite jasper, from the Morrison Ranch area in Oregon. This rare material is said to be 'the king' of all the various species of hard porcelain jaspers, and this cab is a prime example. It has a unique, almost variegated pattern with plenty of streamers in rich advocado green tones, with some interesting touches of rusty orange and golden yellow. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a whimsically fun designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
