Pigeon blood agate tongue ~
Offered here is a designer tongue of top notch pigeon blood agate, also known as cornelian, from Utah. This one is an excellent example of this seldom seen material, showing great reddish-orange mossy figure and a great degree of translucence. Rather than the classic dots and spots, this stone has lacy frills and a couple of the sought after 'olives'. This tongue is bullet shaped, flattened at one end, with an oval cross-section and a glassy polish on all surfaces.
