Bull Canyon agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of beautiful Bull Canyon agate, from the Northern California/Nevada border area. This is a terrific agate that's not often seen, and that's a shame because it's truly wonderful stuff! It features a neat pattern of tube-like stringers and mosses, reminding me of a lush underwater garden with seaweeds and corals wafting in the current. The agate base is nicely translucent, as you can see from the last photo. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a crisp curve-at-every-edge shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
