Amethyst sage agate cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. It features wonderful purple and lavender colors with an excellent display of black spidery dendrites against burnt orange/yellow. Nicely translucent too, as the backlit photo illustrates! I do need to mention that there are a couple typical hairlines in this stone, but they appear to be well healed vestiges only; the cab is thoroughly solid and stable, ready for your finest creations. It has a very high rounded dome, a bold, crisp shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
