Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a sweet lil' cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. This stone is an opalized example, with rich creamy browns and tans, as well as a nice scattering of jet black dendrites. With a bit of imagination, it's quite scenic, resembling rolling hills and a black setting sun in an almost painted pattern. It has a low well rounded dome of just over 4mm, which is a bit thinner than I prefer, but it works just fine for the proportions of this stone. It has a slick glassy polish both front and back.
