Texas plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Texas plume agate, neat old stock from Texas. It features an assortment of black plumes against a translucent agate background. Interestingly, the agate appears bluish, with areas of orange, but when backlit even a little it's transformed to clear and golden yellow. Just beautiful! It has a nicely rounded dome of 5+mm, a sleek 'spear' shape, and despite a couple negligible pinpoint pits, it has a fine glassy polish both front and back.
