Charoite cab ~
Here is a rather unusual cabochon of charoite, from Russia. It features delightful lavender coloration, with several large sprays of jet black aegirine-augite as well as accents of sparkly prismatic golden tinaksite. I think it's a lovely combination, one that always sells well in my own jewelry. It has a high rounded dome of 6+mm, a crisp designer shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
