Offered here is a designer cabochon of top notch rhodochrosite, from Argentina, cut from the base of a rare stalactite. Not easy to come by like it once was, last I heard, the price of material from this classic Inca Rose location is strictly controlled by the Argentinian goverment. -grr- This gemmy gel-like cab features vibrant hot pink coloration that's positively startling! Deliciously brilliant, it also has a sparkling crystalline appearance, some lacy bands and a bullseye, and a remarkable degree of warm translucence. The stone has a high rounded dome, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
