Petrified wood cab ~
Offered here is a fine cabochon of wildly patterned petrified wood, which might be more accurately called a wood replacement. This highly agatized material is a joy to work with, and I don't see any of the typical fractures pet wood so often has. The net pattern in this cab is amazing, and you can discern the actual rings of the once-living tree in the close up, though I'm not well versed enough to positively identify the species for you. The cab has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully fluid shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
