Flame agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top shelf flame agate, from Mexico. It features a superb pattern of flame-like plumes in a very appropriate shade of warm reddish orange. The background agate is nicely translucent in a slightly more purplish hue. I should mention there's a tiny formation flaw at one edge, but it doesn't detract and shouldn't pose any problem with setting. The cab has a well rounded dome, a crisp symmetrical shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
