Wave Hill agate cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of Wave Hill agate, from Australia's Northern Territory. These exceptional agates are certainly world class, and won my heart straight away. This example is truly a remarkable prize, small but mighty, with bold fortification banding in shades of puce and stark white. Within them is a pool of translucence, with just a bit of sparkle and a few teensy red dots. Around them are tiny intricate bullseyes, with just a bit of the nodule's pinkish outer matrix. Boatloads of character, definitely a KEEPER! This stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a FAT jellybean shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
