Kabambi ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Madagascar's kabambi ocean jasper, a pretty sister to the original ocean jasper source just up the beach. This fancy example features rich shades of golden ochre overlaid with a stream of rosy-edged bullseyes. There's an abundance of tiny avocado orbs, as well as some intricate fortification banding. The pattern is quite complex, with a rather exotic flavor. It ought to look fantastic set in either silver or gold, or whatever you can dream up to show it off! The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer 'spear' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
