Priday plume agate ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of collectibly rare Priday plume agate, from the Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. This fascinating stone was cut from some grand old stock, stashed away for decades in the cherished collection of an old gentleman rockhound, and I was extremely fortunate to have been able to purchase a horde of slices from his living estate. Oh for joy!!! This example features an impressive display of ornate plumes and loose filament mosses playing the part of living flora. It has a nicely rounded dome of 4.5mm, and an elegant designer 'crescent' shape that's polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
