Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of morrisonite jasper, from the old Morrison Ranch digs in Oregon. This RARE material is the most sought after member of the porcelain jasper family, often called the king of jasper. This example streamers in a gamut of complimentary shades of tan, deep olive green & denim blue, along with touches of old ivory & rusty orange to brown. The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a designer talon shape, and polished both front and back.
