Offered here is a vibrant cabochon of Sonora Sunrise, from Mexico. This fabulous material has amazing color, all 100% natural blue chrysocolla and blood red cuprite. This example has a deep teal blue and bright crimson red combination that's truly striking. Surprisingly, the red patches exhibit a somewhat metallic sheen, which tinges their edges a bit purplish. If you want eye catching stones, Sonora Sunrise will truly fill the bill; it's jam-packed with designer potential, commanding attention easily. This one'll make a great ring stone. It has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a rectangular shape, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
