Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Montana agate, cut from rough I 'found' at a Montana rockshop a few years back. heh This little beauty has an attractive scattering of the classic inky black dendrites in various shapes and sizes that seem to float within the stone, along with a splash of bright carnelian orange. The background agate is translucent, tinged a pale blue, with an appealing, almost opalescent, quality to it. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5+mm, a designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
