Variscite cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of spiderwebbed variscite, from Candelaria, Nevada. This is an example of very old material, 100% natural, dug many decades ago. It features cool pastel greens that remind me of pistachio ice cream (my favorite), with deeper minty green cores. There's also plenty of contrasting dark spiderwebbing throughout, and one tiny patch of jet black matrix at the side edge, adding greatly to the stone's character and value. It's one gorgeous collectible stone! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a sweet designer drop shape, and a surprisingly nice polish both front and back.
