Medicine Bow plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Medicine Bow plume agate, from Wyoming. This gorgeous agate is sought after for its lovely high contrast flowering plumes, and this one is a fine example, cut from the gemmiest part! With a background of bright white and sparkly crystal, this stone is beautifully translucent, with outstanding fortified tubes as well as a few jet black dendritic plumes that remind me of dancing figures... Maybe they're playing basketball...? I've seen this material set in both gold and silver with great results, but I think the contrast of a silver mounting would look best. Of course, that choice is entirely up to you! The cab has a low but well rounded dome of 4mm, a plump designer drop shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
