Bruneau jasper cab ~
Offered here is a delightful cabochon of Bruneau Canyon jasper, from Idaho. It features an attractive pattern of partial orbs, overlapping one in front of the other, in shades of creamy peach against a burnt orange body. There's just a touch of translucency present too, typical of the best of this fine porcelain jasper. Sadly, it's becoming alarmingly scarce and spendy these days, and has always been much sought after by collectors and designers alike. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, and a versatile designer shape, perfectly polished both front and back.
