Teepee Canyon agate cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Teepee Canyon Agate, wrested from the hard rock near Custer, South Dakota. This old stock example features wild, lacy crimson-orange fortifications against a background of soft pastel peach and white. There are a sparkles beneath the surface, as well as an open vug lined with sparkling crystals at the heart of one of the fortifications. The vug does not penetrate through to the back side, and appears to have a hint of pale amethystine lavender color. Amazingly unique, this one is sure to make a treasured item of wearable art almost effortlessly! The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
