Stone Canyon jasper cab suite ~
Offered here is a matching trio of cabochons of Stone Canyon jasper, from California. They are a fine example of brecciated stone, which means the original ochre-yellow jasper was once broken apart by some powerful earth movement, and then naturally re-cemented with contrasting burgundy-red and pale lavender agate. The agate has some translucency, adding an attractive dimension of depth. Each of these stones has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
