Gaspeite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of old stock gaspeite, a rare nickel carbonate mineral which hails from the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. It features a bright green coloration with mottled dabs of brown and tan matrix. I cut this cab just for fun, and hope someone enjoys it. The cab has a low but well rounded dome and a sleek designer shape, polished both front and back.
