Tigeriron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This splendid example features patches of chatoyant golden tigereye, and ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite both separating and framing them. Down both sides are ribbons of jasper, in either reddish-orange, ochre or brown. The contrast is exciting in hand, with plenty of flash and dazzle. The cab has a long designer 'flame' shape, a well rounded dome of 5mm, and it is beautifully polished both front and back.
